Tuplex Acoustic & Moisture Protect Underlay (16.5m2)

Tuplex is a premium quality acoustic underlay for use under floating floors – it is certified to reduce impact noise by approximately 20dB. It has a moisture and vapour barrier and so can be used over concrete (with a moisture content of 5% or lower) without visqueen or builders plastic. Roll size is 1.1m wide by 15m long (16.5 Sqm). Tuplex is a new generation underlay for hard flooring. It can be used underneath laminate floors as well as veneered and all engineered hardwood and coniferous floating floors. It is a versatile product that meets all the requirements associated with installing and using a hard floor. Tuplex is comprised of two layers of solid polyethylene with flexible polystyrene granules sandwiched between them. Suitable for use with underfloor heating. TOG 0.8 / Thermal Resistance 0.083 m2K/W.
